Managing Director

John Cambridge is a graduate in Chemical Engineering and a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers with over 36 years’ experience of working within the oil and gas industry. John joined Genesis in 1989 from Texaco, where he held the role of Chief Process Engineer in London. In 1994 he became Director of the London Consultancy at Genesis and in 2010 he was appointed Managing Director and has helped position Genesis as one of the world’s leading engineering companies servicing the upstream oil and gas sector.

Terry Halliday has a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture from Memorial University of Newfoundland and has 30 years of experience, 20 years of which have been spent in the US working within the oil and gas industry. Terry joined TechnipFMC in 2012 from McDermott Engineering where she held the role of Engineering Project Manager for a large EPCI Greenfield Project. In 2015 she joined Genesis as the Engineering Director for the Subsea Engineering team and in 2016 was appointed Vice President of Engineering Resources for Houston. She has championed engineering efficiency, quality and accountability in all projects, offering technical and commercial value to our Clients. Terry holds the position of Global Vice President of Engineering.

Thierry Conti is a graduate in Mechanical and Finance Engineering from French grande école d’ingénieurs Centrale Nantes, and spent the last 10 years working within the oil and gas industry. Thierry has previously held multiple strategic development roles within TechnipFMC both in Paris and Houston, focusing on investments in assets, value creation and developing innovative solutions for its customers. Prior to joining Genesis in 2017, he was Director Strategy, Development and Integration for the North America Regional Business Unit. Thierry holds the position of Regional Vice President Americas, based in Houston, responsible to drive our business and support our clients across the region.

Roddy MacPherson has over 22 years’ experience of working within the oil and gas industry. Roddy has spent periods of his career in major operating companies, design contractors and engineering consultancies in both site and office-based roles. Roddy joined Genesis in 1999 and helped the Aberdeen Consultancy transition and grow from its traditional process engineering roots into a multi-discipline organisation, doubling in size. Roddy holds the position of Regional Vice President for EMIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa), and is responsible for the growth of our business in the region.
