Genesis Graduate Training Course accredited by IChemE

The Aberdeen and London office Graduate Training Scheme for chemical and process engineers gains accreditation by the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).

The aim of the Accredited Training Scheme (ACTS) is to ensure that our graduates effectively and quickly transition to Chartered status, which is the leading professional benchmark for process engineers around the world.

This builds upon the London scheme that was accredited in 2013. For both offices to achieve accreditation, London and Aberdeen worked together to develop the existing scheme to cover both sites to reflect the slight, but important, differences in the operation of these offices.

The success of the training scheme requires the dedication and enthusiasm of the graduate process engineers as well as the chartered engineers that participate as mentors, and their input to the accreditation visit was key.

The expansion of the ACTS to include the Aberdeen office, means both Genesis offices in the UK are now covered under the Bronze Corporate Partner status with the IChemE. The next goal is to achieve Silver Partner status in 2016.
