Consideration of current and future discharge specifications and increases in water handling capacity is critical in ensuring continued successful operation of our clients’ facilities.
We have completed a number of studies looking at the water management requirements for offshore and onshore developments.
Our involvement covers greenfield concept selection through to brownfield debottlenecking of operating facilities, often with comparison of options for third-party management and water injection versus standalone treatment facilities. In addition we advise on allowance for increasing levels of treatment to cover different scenarios which may be encountered. These scenarios can cover changes to the water itself through to changes in the imposed discharge specification.
To support the treatment facilities selection we can determine the impact on the environment from water discharges using both CORMIX and DREAM modelling.
